SKIN REJUVENATION OPTIONS

Our clinic offers a variety of procedures for the benefit of your skin and we will be happy to assist you in making your skin glow again. Our clinic is equipped to provide you with the option to have a typical Botox injection, a MicroLaserPeel, an Artefill treatment, or a full medical facial if it is needed. As with any medical procedure it is wise to first have a screening to examine your skin in order to see what would be best for your unique vision of yourself.

BOTOX

The most common skin procedure offered can of course be found at our clinic. Botox temporarily immobilizes the muscle it is injected into causing a remarkable improvement in wrinkles caused by muscle contraction.

There is a secret benefit to repetitive Botox injections, as the targeted muscle groups are able to contract less after each application. This means that each injection begins to last longer and longer.

ARTEFILL TREATMENT

Artefill is another method for rejuvenating the skin by removing wrinkles on the face. Contrary to Botox however, Artefill functions by actually filling in the wrinkle of the face to create a smooth area of skin. Artefill injections contain approximately 20% of Artefill microspheres (a synthetic material) and 80% collagen gel. Artefill quite literally ‘fills’ in the wrinkles of the face before it solidifies to create a permanent change inside the skin. This means that unlike Botox, this treatment is not a temporary solution for wrinkles and is a solution with more longevity. Read What is Artefill for more.

MEDICAL FACIALS

For those who have moderate to severe acne or scarring on their face, a full medical facial can help a person to clear their skin from the damage. A medical facial is similar to the fabled spa visit, but is handled right inside the office of the physician. A medical facial is ideal for those who do not have the downtime associated with needlework, or who want a less aggressive treatment for their skin.

A MICROLASER PEEL

A MicroLaser Peel utilizes lasers to carefully remove the outermost layer of skin. This procedure reduces collected scar tissue, wrinkles, and other assorted acne issues. This is ideal for those who live a more active life and have skin that has become damaged through natural means such as aging and sun exposure. The Micro peel is the last of the medium peels before moving into deep (greater than 50 microns) peels of the face. It is also has relatively small downtime, allowing you to go in for the procedure on a Thursday and show up for work the following Monday with a rejuvenated face.

All four of these options are available at our clinic, and each offers a unique take at restoring a youthful and healthy glow to your skin. Stop in and have a consultation today to see which is the best choice for a new you, and let us help you take your first step towards rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.
