Non-Surgical Ways to Get Rid of Wrinkles

At DermASAP, we specialize in providing quick, simple procedures to patients in the Boston area so they can resume their other activities as soon as possible after completing treatments. We understand time is valuable so we have two offices conveniently located in Quincy and Plymouth. We have a team of board certified dermatologists, a plastic surgeon, and physician assistants who are highly sought after for their skills and expertise. Many of our patients are looking for non-surgical ways to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles. Injectables, from neuromodulators to dermal fillers, can be the ideal way to help turn back the hands of time without surgery or any downtime.

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are neuromodulators; meaning they contain a neurotoxin that is used to relax the muscles and prevent them from contracting. We use these injectables to treat the upper third of the face on frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Results can last for at least four months and often appear within 7 to 14 days after the initial treatment. With either injectable, patients can embrace more youthful looking skin and a rejuvenated appearance. There is no downtime required allowing patients to return to work or resume other activities after treatment; however, for at least 4 hours after treatment, we do not recommend any aerobic activity and staying upright.

Dermal fillers

We offer many dermal fillers including Radiesse, Bellafill, Restylane, Juvéderm, and Belotero. Radiesse is composed of calcium-based microspheres within a water-based gel. We use Radiesse to treat fine lines and wrinkles on the face. Radiesse stimulates the production of collagen, a protein in the skin that keeps it firm and supple. Gentle contours, the reduced appearance of lines and wrinkles, and a more refreshed look are benefits of Radiesse. Our other dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that keeps joints lubricated. Restylane, Juvéderm, and Belotero are hyaluronic acid fillers. Bellafill is composed of bovine collagen and PMMA micro-beads. It also contains lidocaine for additional comfort.

We understand that patients often desire an age-defying treatment that does not require incisions, general anesthesia, or any downtime. Our injectables may be ideal for them.
